DOWNTOWN LA/EXPOSITION PARK
Today i just winged it around downtown LA. Walked round for a few hours through all the districts. Nothing heaps exciting, but had to be done. Saw some kewl stuff though. Stumbled upon the Babycakes NYC store there, grabbed a chocolate cupcake and a brownie. Pretty damn good! Girl who served me was a bit weird though.
Next i caught a bus to exposition park, which is just before south central, the whole time thinking “i better not fuck up where to get off the bus again”. fortunately, some dude saw me paying loads of attention to my map and gave me a hand! Anyway, I saw the LA colosseum, the rose garden (disappointing really) and the LA County Museum of Natural History. The museum was pretty kewl, unfortunately they are renovating the dinosaur exhibit, but i did get to see a few dinosaur skeletons including a T-REX head! It’s been a dream of mine since a kid to see a dinosaur exhibit! they also had an exhibit where u can see behind the scenes of workers cleaning fossils to be displayed! The american history and california history exhibits were pretty kewl too.
