MILEY CYRUS “CANT BE TAMED” WORLD PREMIERE!
This is definitely the highlight of the trip so far, and possibly of the entire trip! So i went to this little club called THE HOUSE OF BLUES. This place is pretty sick, is owned by DAN AYKROYD, and is probably a little bit smaller than Fowlers. Anyway, i was lucky enough to attend the WORLD PREMIERE of MILEY CYRUS’S new album!!!!
Fantastic show, small venue, good sound, she sings live for real, and kills it!! She mostly played new songs off the album, played an 80s rock medley, and topped it off with “The Climb” and “Party in the USA”. Loved it!! She atchelly had some pretty intelligent things to say between songs too! Anyways, the “Cant be Tamed” song has definitely grown on me and was sick live. Bought a tshirt at the show too.
Took crappy iPhone photos at the show, the ticket said no cameras and stupidly i believed it. Everyone had cameras. Oh well. Keep and eye out on MTV, coz they filmed the first part of the set!
Also, on the way back to the hostel, i got pretty lost!! Ended up having to catch a bus in the opposite direction i was going in some random neighborhood. Didn’t get stabbed though. Shout out to LA bus drivers, they’ve all been really helpful!
